TCS Helpline and Complaints: Numbers, Process and Escalation
How to reach TCS from any city, what the agent will ask for, and how to register a complaint that gets a reference number instead of a verbal promise.

Quick answer: TCS publishes one universal access number, 111 123 456, dialled with a city code, most commonly 021 111 123 456. There is no separate complaint line. You call the same number, ask the agent to register a case, and write down the complaint reference they give you. Without that reference a complaint is a conversation rather than a record.
The TCS helpline number
TCS universal access number
021 111 123 456
The 111 123 456 part is the same everywhere. The prefix is simply a city code, and every version routes into the same customer care network.
People search for a TCS complaint number, a TCS call centre number and a TCS UAN as if they were three different things. They are one number. TCS does not publish a separate complaint-only line, so the helpline is where delayed parcels, damaged shipments, billing disputes and service complaints all start.
The published email address for written queries is customercare@tcs.com.pk. Email is slower than the phone but it gives you something the phone does not: a dated record of exactly what you reported and when, which matters if a case drags on.
Dialling it from your city
The universal access number takes your local city code in front. From a mobile any of these connects, so if you are unsure, the Karachi form works from anywhere in Pakistan.
| City | Dial |
|---|---|
| Karachi | 021 111 123 456 |
| Lahore | 042 111 123 456 |
| Islamabad and Rawalpindi | 051 111 123 456 |
| Faisalabad | 041 111 123 456 |
| Multan | 061 111 123 456 |
| Peshawar | 091 111 123 456 |
| Quetta | 081 111 123 456 |
| Gujranwala | 055 111 123 456 |
| Sialkot | 052 111 123 456 |
| Sargodha | 048 111 123 456 |
| Hyderabad | 022 111 123 456 |
| Bahawalpur | 062 111 123 456 |
| Sukkur | 071 111 123 456 |
Rawalpindi and Islamabad share the 051 code, so there is no separate Rawalpindi helpline to hunt for. Smaller towns such as Sheikhupura, Kohat, Mardan, Wah Cantt, Haripur, Mansehra, Narowal, Talagang, Raiwind and Mandi Bahauddin do not need their own number either: use the universal access number, or call the branch itself.
Individual Express Centres do have their own direct lines, and those are the ones worth using when you want to know whether a specific branch is holding your parcel or what time it closes today. Branch numbers change as franchises change hands, so rather than copying a list that goes stale, look the branch up on the TCS near you map, where the current number sits on the listing.
For the UAE, TCS operates as TCS Express Worldwide LLC and publishes 600 565651 as its local number.
Which channel to use for what
| Situation | Best channel |
|---|---|
| Where is my parcel right now | Track it yourself first, the answer is usually on screen |
| Parcel stuck, delayed, or attempted and not delivered | Helpline, and ask for a complaint reference |
| Damaged or missing contents | Helpline, then the booking branch with the receipt |
| Something you need in writing | customercare@tcs.com.pk |
| Branch hours, holding a parcel, self collection | The branch directly |
| Business accounts, cash on delivery, billing | Your account representative |
Start with tracking, because a large share of helpline calls are answered by the scan history. Whether a quiet gap is normal or not is covered in the tracking not updating guide, and what each entry means is in the status guide.
What to have ready before you call
The agent cannot open anything without the consignment number, and a call spent looking for the receipt is a call wasted. Collect these first.
- The consignment number, read from the receipt or dispatch SMS rather than from memory.
- The booking date and the city or Express Centre it was booked from.
- Sender and receiver names, plus the mobile number given at booking.
- The delivery address as it was written on the label, including any flat or shop number.
- What the tracking currently shows, including the date of the last scan.
- One sentence stating what you want: redelivery, collection, an investigation, or a claim.
If a shop shipped the parcel to you, remember the sender is TCS’s customer, not you. You can still report a problem, but the sender holds the receipt and any declared value cover, so anything involving compensation has to go through them.
Registering a complaint that actually gets followed up
The difference between a complaint that moves and one that disappears is usually the reference number. Ask for it explicitly.
- Call the helpline and describe the problem in one sentence, with the consignment number.
- Say clearly that you want a complaint registered, not just an update. Agents answer status queries all day, so the word complaint matters.
- Write down the complaint reference, the date and time, and the agent’s name.
- Send the same details to customercare@tcs.com.pk with the reference in the subject line, so a written trail exists.
- When you follow up, quote the reference instead of starting the story again, otherwise the case restarts from zero.
Keep the receipt until the matter is closed. For a damaged parcel, photograph the packaging before you unpack any further, then the contents. Photographs taken after unpacking are much harder to use.
Complaint types and who actually handles them
Naming the right category gets your case to the right desk faster.
- Delay. The parcel is moving but past its promised date. Handled by the branch holding it, coordinated through the helpline.
- No movement. The scan history has stopped. This is the one that needs a case reference, because someone has to physically locate the shipment.
- Failed delivery. Marked attempted or undelivered when nobody called you. Ask for redelivery on a stated date, or for the parcel to be held for collection.
- Damage or missing contents. Raised by the sender, with the receipt and photographs. Any declared value cover is attached to the booking, not to the receiver.
- Wrong charges. A billing dispute. Ask for the weight and service recorded at booking, since the price is built from those.
- Staff or branch conduct. Name the branch and the date. This goes to the area office rather than to operations.
When nothing happens
If the reference has produced no movement after a few working days, escalate rather than repeat.
- Call back with the reference and ask two specific questions: which branch currently holds the shipment, and who owns the case.
- Visit the destination branch in person with your receipt. The parcel is physically there, and a counter conversation often moves things that phone calls do not.
- If a seller shipped to you, ask them to raise it from their side. A complaint from an account holder carries more weight than one from a receiver.
- Put it in writing to customercare@tcs.com.pk, quoting every date, reference and name you have collected.
- For a dispute that stays unresolved, Pakistan’s Citizens Portal accepts complaints against service providers, and provincial consumer courts exist for claims. Both are slow routes, so use them only after the normal channels are genuinely exhausted.
Set your expectations by the type of case. A redelivery request is usually settled in a day or two. A shipment that has to be traced across the network takes longer, and a claim involving compensation takes longer still because it goes through the booking branch and the sender.
Frequently asked questions
What is the TCS helpline number?
TCS publishes a universal access number, 111 123 456, dialled with a city code such as 021 111 123 456. Other city codes reach the same customer care network, so there is no advantage in hunting for a city specific line. The published email address is customercare@tcs.com.pk.
Is there a separate TCS complaint number?
No. Complaints go through the same helpline. Ask the agent to register a case and to give you a complaint reference number, then keep that reference for every follow up.
How do I check my TCS complaint status?
Call the helpline and quote the complaint reference rather than the consignment number alone. Ask which branch currently holds the shipment and who is handling the case. Starting the story again without the reference usually restarts the case.
What is the TCS helpline number for my city?
The same one with your city code in front, for example 042 111 123 456 in Lahore or 051 111 123 456 in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. For a specific branch, look it up on the near you map, where the current direct number is shown on the listing.
Can I complain if the parcel was sent to me by a shop?
You can report the problem and ask for redelivery. Anything involving compensation has to come from the sender, because they booked the shipment, hold the receipt and hold any declared value cover.
What should I do about a lost or damaged TCS parcel?
Report it as early as you can. Photograph the packaging before unpacking further, keep everything including the box, and pass the images to the sender so they can open the claim with the booking branch. Quote the consignment number in every message.
